The Capture of Dungeon Valefor - Part One (迷宮（ダンジョン）バアル攻略篇・前篇, Meikyū Varefōru Kōryaku-hen - Zenpen) is the 3rd Night of Adventure of Sinbad OVA series.

Summary[]

Arriving into Imuchakk country, Sinbad encounters Hinahoho who is hunting a Rampaging Unicorn for the coming of age ceremony. Because Sinbad had killed the Rampaging Unicorn, Hinahoho seeks out to become a true warrior by venturing to conquer the Valefor Dungeon. Meanwhile, Drakon with the aid of a new group, Ja'far, Vittel, Mahad, and Falan, travel to pursue Sinbad due to avenging Princess Serendine's honor.

Synopsis[]

In the frigid seas, Sinbad drifts until he sees a giant sea creature attack Hinahoho and Pipirika. Hinahoho saves his sister from drowning and leads the creature away once he finds a small ice platform to jump on. After throwing the spear and seeing it failed to penetrate the beast, Sinbad arrives and smites the creature with his lightning attack. Elsewhere, Drakon and his men are sailing through ice berg laden sea. A flashback reveals that Drakon is on a mission up north to pursue Sinbad with the help of Sham Lash assassins due to Sinbad's shameful attack on Serendine.

Sinbad, Hinahoho, and Pipirika arrive to the Imuchakk village where the villagers are making preparations for Mahrajan. When the Hinahoho's father converse about a dungeon up north, Sinbad urges them to not go there because many men had been killed. Sinbad reveals the Djinn Conqueror's sign on his sword. Hinahoho's father's mood quickly changes and offers his respect. Then Pipirika asks Hinahoho about Rurumu after becoming a warrior. While everyone celebrates, Hinahoho has self doubts about becoming a warrior since Sinbad had defeated the Rampaging Unicorn. Pipirika finds Hinahoho and wishes him to be the same big brother. Nearby, Ja'far watches the two siblings. Hinahoho and Pipirika find their father who informed them that Sinbad had a low alcohol tolerance.

Lurking over a drunken, sleeping Sinbad, Ja'far pounces on Sinbad only to be countered by Sinbad. Ja'far is able to restrain and pin Sinbad until Sinbad electrocutes him. Interrogating Ja'far, Sinbad slaps Ja'far for smiling and relishing in killing his parents. Ja'far breaks free. Vittle and Mahad rescues him during the smoke bomb attack. Sinbad explains he had defied his country. Hinahoho asks how Sinbad is not afraid.

Later, a scared Pipirika announces to Sinbad that her older brother is going to conquer a dungeon to prove he is a true warrior. Sinbad tells Pipirika that he will not die as he heads towards the dungeon.

Inside, Hinahoho is bewildered by the dungeon. Following Sinbad, Yunan watches over him.
