The Conviction of Souls and Puppetry (精神と傀儡の信念 Seishin to Kairai no Shin'nen) is Night 341 of the Magi manga series.

Summary[]

Just when Alibaba plans to fight alongside Aladdin as they have two opponents, Sinbad makes eye contact and signals Arba to take Alibaba away. Sinbad explains to Aladdin that he finds Aladdin and Alibaba aren't good together as he doesn't trust the system of a king and his Magi. Despite Aladdin reflecting Sinbad's sound wave attacks, he still gets hit by Serendine's attack from the side.

After repeating his question, Sinbad notes he already knows Aladdin's answer. Aladdin shares what he learns from Matal about how one should not devote their entire self to someone. Sinbad counter argues that Aladdin's life as a Magi is forced on by King Solomon and Ugo. He calls Aladdin's existence a contradiction. Aladdin admits he's being influenced but being influenced by so many people which helps him evolve his way of thinking. Aladdin elaborates that he is not guided by a single person by sharing his experiences living with Ugo. This ultimately triggers everyone's evolution and their satisfaction. Aladdin asks Sinbad since he's a god, will he have no one by his side.

Much to Aladdin's shock, Sinbad smiles and assures Aladdin that he isn't alone. He calls Aladdin a nice guy and mentions he has Arba and David with him. Aladdin asks if Sinbad holds these two more dear than his friends. Sinbad then replies they will talk about another topic of how the Sacred Palace and its people will evolve.
