Summary[]

Surprised by having been captured so easily, David tries to understand why he had been outwitted by Ugo. The latter reveals to him that he saw through his and Arba's plan to use Sinbad to get to the Sacred Palace. David argues that he couldn't have known, because he had absorbed Il Illah, thus making it impossible for any living being within the world he had created, to predict the god's actions. However, Ugo explains that he had realised during his magic research that it is possible to change the hierarchy of the gods. Amazed by his accomplishment, David offers to become Ugo's friend, but Ugo picks him up and places him into a fish tank.

Meanwhile, Arba awakens in the Sacred Palace. Wondering whether Sinbad and David succeeded, she is shown the fish tank with David and Ill Ilah inside, amidst the creation of a lower-order world. Enraged by his actions, Arba asks whether Ugo thinks he's god, and to her surprise, he confirms, adding that he has to manage the world Solomon entrusted to him. He mentions how bored he's been since Aladdin left, explaining that, since there is no time in the Sacred Palace, it felt to him like an unimaginable amount of time had passed. With tears in his eyes, he expresses his happiness that Arba is with him, telling her how much he had admired her when they were friends with Solomon. As he asks her whether they could be friends again, Arba thinks to herself that he had lost his mind, trying to figure out how she could oppose him.

Ugo then tries to figure out how Sinbad had managed to breach his defence mechanism. He wonders, why didn't his Magi choose another king, if they feared him. In the meantime, David is in the process of creating a new world, thrilled by his ability to do so. Nonetheless, he has a feeling something is wrong, wondering if this was his destiny. Just then, Sinbad's voice speaks in his mind, telling him that he has played out his role of being a stepping stone for him to rise well...
