Bureaucratic Request

I'm Takashichea an admin in this Wikia. I decided to adopt this Wikia. This will be the last Wikia I will be active. I don't want to overwhelm myself given I have a job in real life. I did have 2 but the pandemic made it harder. I come from Anime Vice, a forum that used to have its own site with wiki component. I'm not an original Wikia editor. Though, my home site is gone. I have edited here for a long time. I did have breaks due to college. I still will strive to preserve and continue to contribute because I had friends in this community. I seen Magi fandom still active despite the author finishing up this franchise and moving onto another work, Orient. The Wikia has a lot of Magi pages. We are still struggling with Adventure of Sinbad. WE are still trying to settle some guidelines on what names to use for Sinbad wiki pages. Thank you.

Morgiana is based off east African or Africans in general.

'The Dark Continent' is the imperialistic term used by the colonialists who refered to my home Africa as "The Dark Continent'. I dont take offence about this, am just pointing that out. Bysides I watch and read enough anime & manga to understand how closed the Japanese culture is, i mean they love ze Germans & America(sort of), no wonder the think we Africans so. Even though its said Arabian Nights is Middle Eastern folk tales all the stories are set in Africa, and are North and East African tales, from Egypt to Sudan and even Morocco, all in Africa. I love Morgiana, she's hot and i love how her outfit maintaains it form :D

Sinbad is or isnt the first one to conquer dungeon?

You know how its like '''Sinbad''' is the first to conquer a dungeon but it wasnt sinbad it was '''Scheherazades''' first king vessel '''Pernadius Alexius''' bc he was born like 200 years ago in anime and manga but idk bc ppl say its '''Sinbad '''and im sitting in the corner like remember '''Pernadius Alexius''' he is older by like 200 years but literally someone help me im so confused.

New Wikia Theme.

As of current we've been using the same theme for a long period of time. It's also rather bland and doesn't necessarily showcase anything. I feel it's needed that we change out the background theme and change the colour scheme of the Wikia. There are a variety of Wikia's that use colourful and creative backgrounds. A few examples being both Fairy Tail and One Piece Wikia. I've spoken to Mell about this and they told me to open up a discussion on the forums. This is so we can get everyones thoughts on the current design and whether anyone else thinks that the current design should be changed. I personally think that it should be changed. Opinions and ideas on what a new theme for the Wikia could look like will be appreciated.

Adminship Discussion

Before I get started, I want to inform you that this isn't a thread asking for your support in me aiming for adminship on this Wikia. As much as I love Magi, I don't feel like I'm cut out for the role of admin. Especially seeing as I've already had numerous disputes. Anyway, moving on from that. As most of you know, well the five active editors. The latest admin was only active for nine days after they attained their admin rights. This has caused many problems for the site, a lack of adminship has slowed down the rate in which we work at. Information on some pages can only be updated by admins. Leaving us, the editors unable to update basic information. The main example being the home page. Due to this I suggest that we choose someone. One that we can all agree on to take the role of admin so that we can have a far more distinguished Wikia.

Splitting Up Pages

We should split up pages like Alibaba's as it has grown too massive. Moving just his History section to a separate page would make editing and viewing so much easier. The same could be said for the other main characters' pages.

So... what's going to happen to Hakuei?

Hakuei's going to wake up soon and through all the plot twists Ohtaka has done I'm not quite sure what to expect. I believe she is still an important character- but considering this is the last arc maybe nothing will happen. Will it still be possible for Arba to still take control of her body? Any thoughts and opinions? Will she end up with Kouen bc Ohtaka has been making so many hints in her omakes XD

AoS: Newest Arc

As you can see, Sinbad and co. have left Heliohapt on their way south, going for Masrur's homeland. I believe that already Night 112 isn't a part of Heliohapt Arc any longer, but instead a new arc. So, I believe it would be a good idea to discuss a possible name for that arc. Considering what we know so far, it could be a Dark Continent Arc, or perhaps a Torran Village Arc. What do you think?

Adminship

Hello everyone ! You guys might already know me, I'm Dancing fairy, contributor on this wiki for quite a long time now. As you know, there are only two administrators on this wiki, ManikWorld and NatiChan. After reflection, I decided to ask for adminship as well, because I wanted to be able to help more on this wiki, and thus to relieve them a bit of the work only them can do. However, Manik is the only one with bureaucrat rights here, meaning only he can grant adminship, but he hasn't come back on this wiki for more than a year. That's why, I turned to Community Central to see if they would agree on granting me adminship on this wiki so important to me. My point being, is that alright with you guys ? What are your opinions about it ? Thank you for your answers and for all your participation on this wiki :)

Adventure of Sinbad's story arcs

And we're on this topic once again. Anyway, for whoever missed it, there was a video recently released and featured a few story arcs from the manga. Baal Arc, Valefor Arc, Badr Arc, Sasan Arc and Artemyra Arc. I believe we should go with official naming when possible, but it's not that easy to decide and I'd like to hear other opinions too. On the wiki, we have Badr Arc and Baal Arc combined into Baal Arc - do we want to separate them to Badr Arc (1-4) and Baal Arc (5-12), since they are clearly different, but we merged them because Badr Arc was short? And what about Imuchakk Arc -> Valefor Arc? We had that discussion before - I believe we decided to go with Imuchakk Arc instead because the arc covered much more than just Valefor's capture, but the OVAs released since then also were simply called "The Capture of Dungeon Valefor". And last but not least, we added a very short Reim Arc between Imuchakk and Sasan, should it be merged with Sasan Arc or left alone? Especially since we included Drakon's story there which took part... in Parthevia. So it's doesn't make much sense anyway.

Yamraiha's name - Potential name change proposal

I was looking around the 1001 Nights/Arabian Nights and I found the name يمليخا Yamlaykhā. This name does match the Japanese name kana (aside from having a short a rather than a long a at the end, which makes sense if the author took the name from English rather than Arabic), so I am 99.99% sure this is the source of her name. I would iniiate the name change on pages myself, but I want to make sure that there was no character guide or something that officially gave her name as "Yamraiha". If there was, then "Yamraiha" is the official spelling and we should just stick with that and I'll just make a mention of the name's source in the trivia section. If there is no offical spelling (as "Yamraiha"), I am proposing we change the name to "Yamlaykha" in all occurances and I will make it so that future sensescans translations use the new name.

A discussion on mind control

Mind control takes a number of different form in this series. Some examples would include -Ithnan's curse on Alibaba/Sinbad (Life Magic) -The Holy Mother Halo Fan used to brainwash children (Light Magic) -Zepar's command abilities: the sleep command and actual mind control (Sound Magic) -I would even count Belial's mind-reading illusions, which is hypothesized as Life Magic, but which I would argue is Light Magic instead. 
We can see that many different kinds of magic have the ability to manipulate, or even outright control, another person. Is mind control limited to just Life, Light and Sound magic? Could a magoi user possibly have the ability to control someone using Fire or Lightning magic? I just thought this was an interesting topic, and might even warrant its own article. How do you think mind control works in the Magi universe?

Question/suggestion

Hi guys, I wanna ask why don't you change Aladdin's personl name to his full name Aladdin Jehoahaz Abraham ? He's the biological son of Solomon, and David's grandson, right? So why do you still keep only his personl name Aladdin instead of putting his complete name Aladdin Jehoahaz Abraham?

Black King

So since Hakuryuu is Judar's king vessel, I think it's mentioned somewhere that there will be a "white king vessel" and a "black king vessel". Anyone else but me think that Hakuryuu's Judar's "Black king"?

Considering ch 242 and Judar statements, can Kouen, Koumei, Kouha and Hakuei still be considered his king vessels? He made clear that he is interested only in Hakuryuu as a king.
